This page explains which cookies and similar technologies Gnam’s sites use, what they are for and how you can choose. The controller is CodeLab srls (Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi 22, 00034 Colleferro (RM), Italy, VAT number 17925991006, info@codelab.email). For everything else, the privacy policy applies.
This is a translation. If it differs from the Italian version, the Italian version prevails.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site saves in your browser. They are used, for example, to keep you signed in or to remember the language you chose.
There are also similar technologies: the browser’s local storage (localStorage, which stays until you clear it) and the tab’s storage (sessionStorage, which is cleared when you close the tab). On this page we treat them like cookies.
Where this policy applies
- gnam.ai: the presentation site;
- menu.gnam.ai and the venue pages (venue-name.menu.gnam.ai): menus, map, customer account and assistant;
- app.gnam.ai: the back office for restaurateurs and staff;
- kds.gnam.ai: the kitchen display.
The two categories
Necessary
They make the sites work: account sign-in, security, language, remembering your cookie choice. They are always on and do not require consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). Only we set them: no third party reads them.
Statistics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate form, how many people use the sites and which pages work best. They turn on only if you accept them.
Before you consent we do not load the Google Analytics script and your browser sends no request to Google. We use Google Consent Mode v2: every permission starts as denied and only analytics_storage becomes “granted” when you accept. Advertising permissions always stay denied.
We do not use advertising or profiling cookies, nor social network plugins. Links to social networks or external maps open those services only if you tap them.

How to choose and change your mind
On your first visit a banner appears with three buttons:
- Accept: also turns on statistics cookies;
- Reject: uses only necessary cookies;
- Customise: you choose, category by category. No box is ticked in advance.
If you close the banner with the X, it counts as a rejection. Scrolling the page does not count as consent.
Your choice applies to all Gnam sites opened in the same browser and lasts 6 months. We ask again sooner if we make significant changes to this policy.
You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops from the next page.
From your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, some parts of the sites (for example account sign-in) will not work.
Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we update this page and its date. If new consents are needed, we ask for them again with the banner.
